The starting point

« Voltalia was founded in 2005, and we were already active in French Guiana and Brazil in renewable energy — solar, wind, hydro and biomass. We went public in 2006, and were accelerating. Around 2018–2019, we were looking to open our capital to reach the next growth stage. »

Creadev’s contribution

« Creadev brought us two essential things: long-term stability and a genuine entrepreneurial mindset. Their commitment without a predefined exit horizon allowed us to build a long-term strategy — something fundamental in our industry, where investments are significant and span many years. Concretely, their presence gave our company strong credibility with financial partners, enabling us to secure better financing conditions. This allowed us to take part in large-scale tenders, particularly in Brazil, with projects exceeding €100 million in investment. Creadev also played a key role in our transition from a startup to a structured company capable of managing far more ambitious projects. »

« Voltalia is now a recognized player in renewable energy, with a strong presence in remote areas such as the Amazon and French Guiana. We structured our organization to generate real impact — including social impact — by bringing electricity to isolated regions. It wasn’t a strategic pivot — we were already on that path — but their support amplified and professionalized our impact, combining acceleration with long-term sustainability. »

« In 2009, we set ourselves a goal: to make refurbished products a mainstream consumer reflex. As pioneers in the buyback, refurbishment and resale of used smartphones, we developed trade-in solutions for operators and brands, and built a complete range of refurbished devices. »

« For five years, Creadev accompanied us through a pivotal phase — our international expansion. We grew from 3 to over 12 countries in Europe and entered the retail market. « In five years, Recommerce has quadrupled in size. We reached nearly €200 million in revenue, built a team of around 200 people, and passed the milestone of one million devices processed per year. Our environmental impact is tangible: more than 260,000 tonnes of CO₂ avoided since our creation. Today, we are one of Europe’s leading players in our field — and Creadev has been a key part of that journey. »

The starting point

« When Creadev joined our capital, Nutri&Co was a fast-growing brand but still heavily dependent on Amazon — 88% of our revenue. The dietary supplement market was stagnant, dominated by outdated pharma codes. We wanted to talk differently: prevention, well-being, active generations — with no nonsense. But at that stage, we needed to structure the company, lay the foundations for sustainable growth, and embrace a long-term vision. »

« What appealed to us about Creadev was that they saw what other funds didn’t. Where some focus solely on metrics, they valued our product execution, our team, and our ability to deliver. Over five years, they challenged us, connected us to people whose advice proved decisive for our e-commerce pivot. On the ground, they were there. Very strong on HR and financial structuring, they helped us recruit a CFO, strengthen our data monitoring, and professionalize our processes. « Nutri&Co is now a much stronger, more structured and resilient brand. We’ve evolved our model: Amazon now accounts for only 30% of our business, while our direct site represents 60%, and we’ve opened to retail. Over this period, we’ve nearly tripled Creadev’s initial investment value. We’ve navigated complex years — COVID, market shifts, strategic turns — but always with a sense of calm. They played their role as a patient shareholder, and that made all the difference. Nutri&Co remains true to its DNA: a pioneering brand promoting preventive, responsible consumption that meets the expectations of a new generation. And if we’re still here today, with solid foundations and a clear direction, Creadev has played a big part in that. »
